What’s on Tap? Temple Works First Public Open Day May 10 11am – 5pm

Most studios will be open all day: a limited number of other activities are timed or by appointment. So arrive at the Artists’ Entrance from 11:00 onwards and start from there.

• Leave your reminiscences and information about South Leeds, Temple Works, Kay’s and our industrial history in the Temple Boardroom
• Meet up with documentary filmmaker Irfan Shah roaming TW for your Vox Pops

• NOTE: 2 (only) one-hour limited numbers’ guided tours leave Downstairs Office at 12:30 and 2:30. Includes the Roof, Main Space and Undercroft. Hard hat areas, sorry no under 15’s. £2.00 charge, sturdy non-slip footwear recommended














• Leeds Model Railway Society will be out in force and demonstrating historic sets in their club rooms (Top Floor Canteen)
• Dave Lynch Open Studio: experimental film projections: unique art, science and sculpture projects . Dave will not be in residence but Interns can take and answer questions. (First Floor Canteen)
• NOTE: Lawrence Molloy Open Studio: invisible sculptures and other works of wonder Lawrence will only be in residence 11:00 – 12:00, but after that Interns can demonstrate. (First Floor Canteen)
• Zoe Eady “Glass Garden “ stained glass Open Studio: Zoe will be in residence all day. (First Floor Canteen)


• Existing installation from 2012 residency at TW by iconic artist Jamie Reid: Anarchist, Situationist and Druid (Sex Pistols, Suburban Arts, Celtic Surveyor et al). Represented by Isis Gallery. (Open Loading Bay).
• Existing installations by My Beating Arts / Black Rose Live Art Collective. Featured: CBloxx, Neil Ennui (hoardings, Joiners Bar, Open Loading Bay).
• Mixed-media artist Toby Latham Open Studio and exhibition, current work and limited archive. Toby will be in residence all day. (Top Floor Canteen).
• Photographer Stu Hansom and fine artist Frances Rickard: display (First Floor Canteen)
• Dan Cunningham’s current photography: where his Victoriana is morphing into traditional Chinese theatre ( First Floor Canteen Workshop)
